Looking to do some pier fishing while on vacation?  Sunglow Pier, next to Crabby Joe’s Deck & Grill and a short walk from Sunglow Resort offers amenities such as a bait shack, fish cleaning areas, benches and seats and fishing pole rentals. Fish typically caught off the pier include Whiting, Kings, Pompano, Flounder, Trout, Spanish Mackeral, Sheep’s Head, Spanish Mackeral, Blues, Sail Cat, Tarpon and more! There are fees associated with fishing off of Sunglow Pier.

Daytona Beach Pier

Daytona Beach Pier has a history stretching close to 100 years. In the past, this pier has been referred to as the Ocean Pier, Keating Pier, Pier Casino and Main Street Pier. Today though, locals just call it “the pier” and it is historically one of the most popular fishing spots in the area. Fishing is allowed on the east end of the Daytona Beach Pier at no cost and fishing licenses are not required. The pier is normally open seven days a week from dawn to dusk, weather conditions allowing.
